Jackie was THE best Aunt, and Alan THE best Uncle. They were also my godparents, they did so much for me . I can’t speak of Jackie without Alan as well, because they were both always there for me and my children when we needed them. My husband Alex also thought so much of them. They taught me so much, and as Alan is , Jackie will also be missed so much. When mum (Rosemary ) died, I was talking to Jackie on the phone , and I said to her I finally realise death is part of life, and she told me I was finally an adult. Sending love to Ian and Clive and their families. It was an honour to have them in my life ❤️❤️

The term one in a million can often be used glibly and with little thought but to describe Jackie as such is an accurate definition. She was a much loved lady!
Jackie was in life what Amelia Earhart was to aviation. I think the two ladies were amazing and had similar characteristics. They looked alike too.
Jackie was perceptive, modest, wise, charismatic, loyal, independent, fun, brave and coped with everything pushed her way. There aren’t enough words to describe this lovely lady, one ahead of her time, one to be admired and one with whom time spent was enjoyable. Personally I wish I had known her longer but I’m pleased to have known her at all.
I will miss the glint on her eye, her wry smile and wicked sense of humour but I will always remember her.
If there were more people like Jackie in this world what a lovely place it would be.

It was always a pleasure to be summoned to fix a TV or move something around as it gave me an excuse to hear the funniest jokes and the most unwavering thoughts and opinions. Should I ever be half as funny or have half the strengths in my convictions as Nan did it would be one hell of an achievement.
